| Hello Friends, I wasn't at Mosaic very long, but long enough to make some cool-cat friends and enjoy the communal worship, so some of you may know me. I moved to Târgu-Mureș, Romania to teach English and share the love of Christ with people in the community, mainly Roma orphans (gypsies). Some of my fellow missionaries/teachers will be leaving in January and we need staff (single or married) to replace them for the Winter term that starts on January 11, 2010. Our foundation pays for utilities and rent, so we garner support for food and other expenses. This is such a legitimate opportunity and I am so glad that I took it; I am learning so much about Christ, myself and grace and I would love to be able to bring a Mosaic friend or married couple over so that they can experience the same things! I have some really good information in my blog (http://davidjcovington.wordpress.com/) about my experiences and foundation (including a great video-http://tinyurl.com/kjezqz). Main qualifications that we are looking for: 1.) Love God and people 2.) a desire to serve 3.) a willingness to learn 4.)a desire to gain a TESOL certification while you are here (Teachers of English to Students of Other Languages). If you are interested or know anyone who might, I urge you to not have a spirit of timidity, but one of power and love! I came here initially without any support or idea of what it would be like and God has provided and I have so glad that I did. | My husband Jamie and I are moving Friday the 27th of March to Cedar Park area and were wondering if we could recruit some help. We mostly need help carrying the a few larger pieces, i.e. one couch, desk, amp, bed, tv and some decent size boxes. We mostly just need some help moving it from the truck into apartment (on third floor). We'll do all the big stuff last in the afternoon (hopefully around 4 or 5) and it shouldn't take longer than an hour or two. If you can come earlier to help that is most welcome as well. | Hello All you lovely people, It is The Otts Clan here. So, we are humbly calling upon those of you here at Mosaic for some help. Noelle, Cash, & I are just a couple of weeks away from welcoming Madeline-Rose Otts into this world. Life is crazy, work is nuts, our house is under construction and we desperately need help building our raised beds for our Spring 2009 Garden de Otts. It is quite the big area, and we will be looking to build quite a few raised beds, fill them, and plant. We would be ever ever ever so grateful for anyone that can lend a hand to help us do the following: - till over our soil - build raised beds - fill with soil/compost/etc.... - plant plants There would of course be refreshments & food served for all who could help, cause that's just now we roll. We are looking to do it THIS SATURDAY (yes SXSW weekend), b/c of the pressing time with the baby coming. We know that if we wait and she comes it will just get pushed back even more and more.
