Hello Friends,
I wasn't at Mosaic very long, but long enough to make some cool-cat friends and enjoy the communal worship, so some of you may know me. I moved to Târgu-Mureș, Romania to teach English and share the love of Christ with people in the community, mainly Roma orphans (gypsies).

Some of my fellow missionaries/teachers will be leaving in January and we need staff (single or married) to replace them for the Winter term that starts on January 11, 2010. Our foundation pays for utilities and rent, so we garner support for food and other expenses.

This is such a legitimate opportunity and I am so glad that I took it; I am learning so much about Christ, myself and grace and I would love to be able to bring a Mosaic friend or married couple over so that they can experience the same things! Main qualifications that we are looking for: 1.) Love God and people 2.) a desire to serve 3.) a willingness to learn 4.)a desire to gain a TESOL certification while you are here (Teachers of English to Students of Other Languages). If you are interested or know anyone who might, I urge you to not have a spirit of timidity, but one of power and love! I came here initially without any support or idea of what it would be like and God has provided and I have so glad that I did.

I'm a certified teacher (Kinder-4th) currently working in A.I.S.D. I have my Masters in Ed, and 7 years of experience working with at-risk youth, both in residential and academic settings. I'm willing to work in A.I.S.D or most other surrounding districts, i.e. Del Valle, Eanes, Hays, etc. I'm also open to considering any summer professional teaching opportunities, including tutoring.

I currently tutor high school kids in math/science/reading from 8am-9am and 4-6:30pm on weekdays. If anyone knows of part time work between 10 and 3 on week days or possibly work on saturdays, please let me know! :) Thanks.
